It is a very peculiar episode where Lord Krishna is fighting with Lord Shiva, which usually does not happen between them. However, Lord Shiva was fighting because he is the worshipped Lord of Banasura. Such an interdependent relationship between the worshiper and the worshiped Deity is possible only in the case of the demigods. When someone worships the demigod, he feels obliged to show favor to this particular person, no matter how nonsensical that person is. So the only independent Person in this world is Lord Krishna. If we are to accept the worship, we should always remember Krishna, otherwise, we will begin to compete with Him and that is totally useless.
